Idot had been living with us since 2004, after she was brought to KWPLH with a metal cable around her waist which had been attached when she was a cub. By the time she was confiscated the wire had grown into her chest and it was unclear whether or not she would survive. The cable was removed, revealing a very large and serious wound around her middle. She survived, but with scars.

Idot was a very sweet, chubby, mellow bear. All the sun bears miss her and all of us who have helped take care of her also miss her very much.
